What happensaround every call

Ringcord handles the whole call, from logging in and adding credits to the call itself and the record it leaves behind.

Before the call

Getting set up takes a Discord login and a few dollars of credit.

Log in with Discord: Your Discord account signs you in. Ringcord never asks you to create a password.
No application to fill in: Log in, buy credits, and use the bot straight away.
Credits that never expire: One credit is one US cent. Bundles start at $5.00 through Stripe checkout, and unused credits stay in your wallet.
Prices in your currency: The site estimates prices in your local currency and you can pick another one from the menu. Checkout is always charged in USD.
Add the bot to any server: One invite link with 7 permissions, each listed below. It never asks to manage your server, members or roles.

Everything happens in your voice channel.

One command: Run /call with the number in full international format, such as +1 for the US or +44 for the UK.
Audio in your voice channel: Ringcord joins your voice channel and the call plays there, with no extra app or phone to set up.
Local caller ID: The person you call sees a number from their own country, so the call looks familiar.
10 minutes included: Each call costs $0.50 with 10 minutes. Extend in 10-minute blocks for $0.45 each.
Outgoing only: Caller ID numbers are for outgoing calls. Calling one back won't reach your Discord account.

Every call and payment stays on the record in your account.

Call history: Each call with its date, masked destination number, duration, charge and extensions.
Wallet: Your balance, total purchased and total spent in one place.
Payment history: Every credit purchase with its amount, credits added and status.
Refunds for failed calls: If a call fails to connect because of a Ringcord error, those credits are refunded. Report problems within 14 days.

Rules that protect the people you call, and limits on what we keep.

Moderated use: Harassment, prank calls, caller ID spoofing, robocalls and impersonation are banned. Accounts that break the rules are suspended.
No emergency calls: Ringcord can't reach 911, 999, 112 or any other emergency service. Keep a regular phone for emergencies.
Your data stays yours: We don't sell personal data. Ask support to erase it and it's removed from primary systems and backups within 30 days.
Fraud prevention: Ringcord collects a hardware ID only for security, fraud prevention and stopping abuse.
